Membership

Full Membership

Full Membership is open to all serving members of the Royal Air Force and Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is open to the following categories:

• Serving members of the British Armed Forces and Commonwealth Forces serving with the Royal Air Force.

• Members of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, HM Reserve Forces, Air Training Corps, Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets, Army Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Combined Cadet Force.

• Members of the Armed Forces of NATO countries serving with the Royal Air Force.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to retired and ex-serving members of the Royal Air Force, MOD Civilians, dependants of Full and Affiliate members and civilians invited by the committee.

Cost

The cost for Full, Affiliated or Associated Membership is £8.00 per year or £21.00 for 3 years.

Family Membership

Family membership can be taken out to cover the members of a Full/Affiliated/Associated Members family.  All correspondence will be sent to the main members address.  The Cost of Family Membership is £1.00 per family member per year in addition to the main member.

Affiliated Club Membership

Royal Air Force Clubs, Societies and Units and other British Military Walking Clubs (Including Cadet Forces) can apply for affiliation to RAF WARMA.   Membership then entitles them to a single copy of the BWF Events Calendar.  If requested, advice and, wherever possible, assistance in units organising their own walking event will be given.  In addition, members of affiliated clubs will receive the benefits of any financial subsidy to RAFWARMA sponsored events.   The Cost of Affiliated Club Membership is £30.00 per year.

General Details

All members are given membership cards.  Affiliate Clubs receive a certificate giving details of membership. 

Membership runs from January to December annually, although if a member joins in November/December then their membership will start from the following January but benefits of membership will be immediate.
